When selecting fabric, I like what I like and make it work (Tim Gunn voice), for instance this skirt was constructed from Waverly Home Decor fabric (wait, wasn’t that just a Project Runway twist, making fashions from different types of fabric?) In addition the top was made on the reverse side of satin fabric. Yellow is one of my favorite colors.
